Keeping this in view, Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises-India (FSME) was established in the year November 2011 to serve the Small and Medium Enterprises in India. FSME has been registered under section 25 of the Companies Act 1956.
The membership of FSME-India represents the following sectors:
The FSME will act as a liaison between the Government, Government agencies and the enterprise community. While representing the enterprising society with the Government, its departments and its agencies, FSME will strive to educate entrepreneurs and advocate for their proper implementation. It strives to find solution for the problems faced by entrepreneurs of MSME sector.
FSME takes part in various government platforms and provides inputs in formulating the Government Policies concerning MSMEs. It also acts as a nodal agency on behalf of the Government to set up industrial clusters of MSMEs to eligible entrepreneurs.
FSME trains the existing entrepreneurs in updation and management of enterprise to get protected from the various statutory obligations. It helps existing/new entrepreneurs in preparation of project reports and other services like financial closure.
Finance is another problem area for an entrepreneur, where FSME will provide help in getting finance and in solving the banking problems through active participation in various platforms of banking and government led financial institutions.
A strong team of expert consultants from various fields is to provide guidance on company, legal, taxation, labour laws, and environmental issues, IPRs, FEMA and Certifications.
‘Industrial View’, the monthly magazine of FSME-India is a referral magazine for many industrialists and government agencies. Our monthly magazine has a strong base of 7000 subscribers.
